Language/Culture Bank
The Tulsa Language/Culture Bank brings together a group of people with foreign language skills or multicultural experience who volunteer their services to assist community agencies with concerns of homeland security, disaster response, emergency preparedness, crisis management, public health and public safety.

What happens when people who may not speak English or understand the language very well are involved in a disaster situation? They are scared, they may be hurt, and they need someone who can speak their language. How would they tell emergency personnel vital information that could save lives?
