Volunteering for Citizen Corps will provide you with an exciting opportunity to become involved in the Tulsa community and do something practical to make your city a safer and more secure place to live and work.

When you make the commitment to become a part of Citizen Corps, you can volunteer for a number of vitally important organizations that will help your neighborhood, community, state, and nation in the event of a disaster.

Through Citizen Corps, you can volunteer to be part of homeland security, disaster response, emergency preparedness, community building, public health and safety efforts.

You can join with more than 1,200 Tulsa Citizen Corps volunteers to:

Learn more about preparing yourself and your family, friends, coworkers and neighbors for emergencies and disasters.
Donate your skills to assist others in public health, public safety and emergency preparedness efforts and in disaster situations.
Receive training on essential lifesaving skills and teach them to others.
Contribute to community mitigation, safety and preparedness projects.
Be part of the national homeland security effort.
