Citizen Corps Council

Citizen Corps / Tulsa Partners Executive Committee with Mayor TaylorEach Citizen Corps community must have a Citizen Corps Council to provide oversight and guidance to the local program. Tulsa’s Citizen Corps Council was created in March 2002. The Council consists of a dedicated group of individuals representing Tulsa’s private and public organizations committed to disaster preparedness and emergency response.

Terry McGee, retired Tulsa Fire Fighter and Entrepeneur, is the Chair of the Citizen Corps Council. JoAnn Woody, American Red Cross Volunteer and Sheryl Siddiqui, Islamic Society of Tulsa, serve as Vice Chairs.

The Tulsa Citizen Corps Council meets at 10:30 am on the third Tuesday of each month at the Tulsa Health Department, 5051 S. 129th East Avenue. Interested citizens are invited to attend.
